  We arrived with Groupon deals for 8 of us. All 8 meals were terrible! We ordered different types of pastas but all received 'spaghetti'... chopped up in small pieces. It looked like it was prepared for a toddler to eat. The seafood was the worst I've ever eaten. The prawns were chewy, hard skinned (as though shells were still attached (even though removed) and absolutely tasteless. Even the kids didn't finish them! And what scallops? I never received one on my plate! But based on the quality of the rests of the seafood, maybe that was a blessing in disguise.
  
  Staff were constantly bringing wrong orders to every table in the restaurant. It was chaotic, cold, and lacked any ambience. To say I wouldn't recommend would be a severe understatement. At least our waitress was sweet and remained calm and polite throughout her stressful evening. Well done to her.

  Recently travelled from the Dandenong Ranges to Benito's restaurant with my partner. We sat inside next to the wood fire and were attended to by a very friendly staff member. Inside the restaurant was very clean and modernised, which made the atmosphere more unique (worked well in our favour considering it was our wedding anniversary). Presentation of the meals were above restaurant standard and the flavour/seasoning in the food was excellent (particularly the steak). I briefly spoke to the owner, who is a very welcoming and nice person, I could tell that this is a well established family-run restaurant. I will be dining there again!

  We had our baby boy's Christening lunch at Benito's last week. Outstanding value for money, generous serves and top quality meals. All our guests loved their meals and went out of their way to comment as such. It was a very relaxed and friendly experience dealing with Rob and the staff both on the day and in the lead up. We were warm and comfortable in the spacious restaurant, with an extra table provided for the kids to do colouring. What really stood out was Rob's easy going nature and willingness to accommodate our little girl's serious food allergies. We know first hand that some restaurants will not alter menu items or will actually refuse to serve children at risk of anaphylaxis, but not only did Rob accommodate our little girl, he arranged for all the kids' meals to be allergy free so that she didn't feel left out! Thanks very much to the team at Benito's!
